Opening Ceremony

The venue was set Monday evening for this years opening ceremony of the European Girls´Team Championship at Aalborg Golf Club. Besides the 19 teams and their captains about 50 guests watched the flags go up into the beautiful Danish summer evening.

"Always look on the bright side of life", played through the speakers at opening procession and that choice of song seemed to amuse all the players and the guests. Let's hope that the players remember to look on the bright side of life when the stroke play tournament begins Tuesday morning. The opening procession was followed by an official statement from the Chairman of Aalborg Golf Club and a representative from The Danish Golf Union, who welcomed all the players to Denmark and to the tournament.
